The visual side of motorsport.

My name is Mauro Godderis, a rally photographer and motorsport creative from Belgium, and the person behind IMAGO.

Rally was never just a sport to me, it was the world I grew up in. I know this sport down to the smallest details, because I never had to learn it, it's always been part of me. At three I was already holding a camera, drawing liveries on paper and getting them signed by drivers.

What started beside the stages slowly turned into something I couldn't let go of. I noticed how little attention teams gave to how they looked, how they came across, while it was the very first thing anyone else noticed. A livery that stops you before you even know why. A photo that stays with you after the weekend is over, that tells the story of those days, attracts new sponsors, and shows the value and the beauty of this sport. A reel that makes someone feel like they were standing right there in the forest, even if they never left their couch.

That's the gap I couldn't stop seeing, the space between how much motorsport gives and how little of it actually gets captured the way it deserves. That's where IMAGO began.

What I do.

Through IMAGO, I combine livery design, photography and visual storytelling into one approach. Not as separate services, but as one connected identity, built around the team, the driver, and the story behind every project.

My work spans the full range of the sport, from Belgian and European champions to Junior WRC competitors, photographed at events like Spa Rally 2025 and Ardeca Ypres Rally 2026. Every project, at every level, taught me the same thing: a motorsport identity matters more than most people realise.

How I work.

IMAGO is not an agency. It's one person, fully invested in your project.

Every project starts with a conversation, about the car, the team, the sponsors, and the direction we want to take visually. From there, everything is built from scratch. No templates, no shortcuts, no copy-paste visuals. The result is a design that feels connected to the people behind it, not just placed on top of it.

For the team or driver behind each project, it's usually one season, one car, one chance to make the right impression, on stage, online, and in front of the people who matter. That's the standard every project is held to.
